Comprehensive Eye Exams

Our comprehensive examination includes testing of visual acuity and refractive error, eye muscle balance and focusing, glaucoma testing, sensory and neurological evaluation, and thorough examination of the internal and external health of your eyes.

Regularly scheduled eye exams are critical to maintaining good health. In addition to testing your vision and eye health, a comprehensive exam can also detect systemic diseases such as diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure. These conditions can lead to serious health problems and can often develop and progress without symptoms, therefore early detection is very important. We recommend a comprehensive eye examination once a year as part of a proactive approach to your overall health.

Retinal Camera

With our advanced retinal photography system we are able to check the health of the back of the eye without dilation in most cases. This technology allows us to detect minute retinal changes from year to year. With retinal photography you can document disease processes like diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
